Minutes 2013 Annual Meeting

After a motion by Dave Nicosia, seconded by Michael Parrie the unit owners unanimously voted in favor to approve the minutes of the from the 2013 Annual Meeting that was held on June 10, 2013.

Introduction of Board Members

George Pauley introduced the current Board Members.

Introduction of Election Committee and Election Tabulators

George Pauley reported the Committee and tabulators were in the conference room. The election tabulators from Property Systems, Inc., are Ellen Karp and Vicki Elder. The Election Committee members are Chair Paul Groeninger, Sheldon Atovsky, Nancy Ledvina, Homer Longoria, and Georgiana Nowak.

Statement of Purpose of Meeting

George Pauley explained the purpose of the 2014 Annual Meeting is for Unit Owners to elect two members to the Board of Directors. The two candidates receiving the highest votes will each serve two-year terms. Each unit has two votes, which may be split in any way except for fractional votes.

Introduction of Candidates and Nominations From the Floor

George Pauley stated the candidates of record are Betty Terry-Lundy and David Nicosia, and called for any nominations from the floor.

After a motion by Unit Owner Agata Drygas-Andryszewski, seconded by Unit Owner Don Yuratovic, the unit owners voted unanimously in favor of nominating Unit Owner Agata Drygas-Andryszewki as a candidate for the 2014 Board Election.

Final Call For Ballots

After a motion by Michael Parrie, seconded by George Pauley, the owners voted in favor of a final call for ballots at 7:44pm, Dave Nicosia and Betty Terry-Lundy abstained.

Ellen Karp of Property Systems Inc., collected the ballots for tabulation.

Motion to Suspend

After a motion by Michael Parrie, seconded by George Pauley, the unit owners voted in favor of suspending the 2014 annual meeting at 7:45pm, Betty Terry-Lundy abstained.

Reconvening of Meeting

The Board President called the meeting back to order at 8:20 pm.

Announcement of Results

Election Committee Chair Paul Groeninger reported the preliminary results, as tabulated by Property Systems, Inc., as follows:

Quorum                                        50.184%
Agata Drygas-Andryszewski    21.570%
David Nicosia                             42.260%
Betty Terry-Lundy                     28.765%

The Board President thanked the candidates for their willingness to serve the Association, the Election Committee for their help, and Property Systems, Inc. for their service as tabulators.
