At the meeting, Ralph Picker of the Association’s auditing firm Picker and Associates gave an ‘unqualified’ opinion of the financial statements and said PTCA’s financial position appears “strong” at this time. (FYI an “unqualified” opinion simply means the auditors did not find anything negative in either the presentation of PTCA’s financial statements or in the Association’s financial position. It is the best rating an organization can get from a Certified Public Accounting firm.)
Following the presentation by Mr. Picker, at the August 14th Board Meeting, members voted unanimously to formally accept the audit.
