Repairs To Our Main Air Handler
Are Scheduled To Begin Friday April 23rd
Necessary parts have arrived to complete the first phase of this project – replacement of the motor – and that is schedule for Friday April 23rd at 8am. This replacement will take all day and they expect to be done by 5pm. While this work is underway, there will be no fresh air going to the hallways. So, without the hallways being pressurized, Owners and residents may notice some odors may find there way into the hallways from time to time, with cooking and other activities that occur. The exhaust fans will still be running, but with out fresh air being forced into the hall, the air flow will not be as strong is it typically is.
Also, residents from the 50th to 55th floor may here noise as work is underway.
This is the first phase of work planned for this equipment. Contractors will be here while the work is underway, assessing the air handler housing and filter apparatus. The Association will be getting proposals to complete the work later this year.
