Riser Project Beginning for 14/15 Units May 30th

Water Shut Offs For Riser Replacement Project To Commence TUESDAY May 30th!

The Project to Replace the Hot Water Riser Serving the ’14 and ’15 Unit Kitchens From the 3rd to 29th Floors Gets Underway Tuesday May 30th! Water is expected to be off each weekday between 9am and 5pm to ALL ’14 and ’15 unit Kitchens from the 3rd to 29th floors, from Tuesday May 30th through Friday June 16th.

These daily shut downs will accommodate the work needed for the replacement of the riser, but are only needed for duration of the project while actual plumbing work is being done, consistent with the notices and calendars Owners and Residents of these units received. Once the plumbing work is completed each business day, the water will be turned back on. That is usually some time between 2pm and 4pm.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate all residents’ patience and understanding while this very important improvement project is completed. Feel free to contact the office with any questions.

In case you missed it, the Chicago Tribune came out with a detailed investigative report this weekend regarding the financial malfeasance underlying the 2025 closure of Weiss Hospital and the 2026 closure of West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park. For multiple months we have received complaints regarding the homeless takeovers at several Uptown bus stops. The majority of the complaints have focused on the heavily used bus stop and bus shelter across from Aldi and Target, at the corner of Sunnyside and Broadway.Reader AK sent the following photos to illustrate the situation.
