IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS – Starting at 5PM Friday, October 2nd until about 12PM on Saturday October 3rd, sections of the 1P Garage, as well as the Garage Entrance Door and Ramp will be unavailable to use. Workers will be present, conducting the repairs, and some time will be needed following the work for the patching to dry and cure properly.
Entering AND exiting the garage during will be limited to one lane (Garage Exit Door and Ramp). Furthermore, if you are a parker on 1P, depending on your parking location, you may have to use alternative paths to make your way to the exit ramp.
We ask that you PLEASE PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION – when entering and exiting the garage and while driving on 1P during this time. There will be traffic signage and cones set up to help direct traffic. Additionally, staff will be stationed in and out of the Garage to help in this effort. Please drive slowly, check corners, drive defensively, and adhere to all signage, including stop signs.
We realize there might be some interruptions and delays for those who depend on parking, so we kindly ask that parkers allow extra time, especially during the peak rush times when going about daily activities with vehicles.
Although it should go without saying…some advice: When a vehicle is damaged in this way, it should not be driven. Not only because it can damage the surfaces you are driving over, which will result in unnecessary repairs and inconvenience to your neighbors. Catastrophic damage could occur to the vehicles tire rim and axle (or more) – or even worse – drivers themselves could be injured and risk an accident that could injure others and result in even more damage.
As far as the damages here, the Unit Owner is being charged for the repairs and the time our staff is spending on the matter. Also, a Notice of Violation is being issued and the matter will be considered by the PT Rules Commission and Board of Directors for enforcement action. For this level of property damage and disruption, it is possible fines could be assessed.
We greatly appreciate our parkers’ patience during the repair effort and apologize in advance for the disruption and inconvenience this may cause.
