Due To The Ongoing Treatment To Address Algae Our Team Has Been Forced To Shut Down The Pool Temporarily!
While maintenance has been conducting the special treatment of the pool (referred to in the original post below) water to help deal with stubborn algae issues, Chlorine levels spiked unexpectedly. They are working now to bring the level back down and will reopen as soon as possible.
Because of this condition, once we do reopen, due to the nature of the ongoing treatment for the algae, our team will be monitoring chemical levels very closely. Safety is the priority, so it is possible they will need to close the pool again if levels spike.
We will update this post throughout the holiday weekend. As the maintenance team keeps us updated, we will follow up here with the latest.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while this work is being completed.
ALSO – Regarding The Outdoor Kiddie Pool
As our team began to fill the pool for the season, leaking was discovered coming from a light fixture. That repair is underway now. The team expects to get this up and running by early next week if not sooner.

A Couple Things For Health Club Members To Be Aware Of
POOL ALGAE TREATMENT UNDERWAY
First, our team has been facing a challenge with algae in the pool. A notice was sent to members regarding a professional treatment that is underway following the guidance of our maintenance vendor All Seasons Pool & Spa.
This is a chemical ‘micro-dosing’ treatment, being added to the pool in small batches nightly. This will continue over the next week. We don’t expect to begin seeing results until over the next several days. This gradual dosing approach helps to safely improve water conditions by shedding the algae buildup on the pool liner and allowing it to be filtered out effectively.
Please note:
- Algae will continue to be present as the treatment is underway, but is expected to begin reducing over the next several days (May 23rd-May 26th).
- You may notice temporary cloudiness in the water during this period. This is a normal part of the cleaning process as the algae is neutralized and filtered.
- The pool will remain open and safe to swim in throughout the entire dosing schedule.
- Dosing will be conducted during overnight hours to minimize disruption.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for our pool.
JACUZZI JET REPLACEMENT JUNE 2nd
Next, our team is coordinating the planned replacement of the jacuzzi jets. This is scheduled for Monday June 2nd 2025 between 9am – 5pm. This will require the jacuzzi to be drained and inaccessible.
When the work is completed the jacuzzi will be filled and treated. It will need at least 2-3 hours for the water to be reheated. Our team believes it will be back up and running and safe to use on June 2nd by 7pm if not sooner.
