At their February 28, 2022 Meeting, the PTCA Board of Directors discussed recent changes made to City of Chicago and State of Illinois mask and vaccination mandates in place to help address the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Relatively consistent with those changes the Board voted unanimously in favor of the following, effective immediately:

1. Masking in all common areas will be optional and a matter of personal choice.
2. The Elevator Capacity restrictions are lifted and may return to the posted weight limits of each cab.
3. The Health Club vaccine mandate will remain in place for the time being, though masks will be optional. We expect this to be evaluated on a monthly basis, or so.

Our team continues to recommend the use of face coverings if you are not fully vaccinated with the booster shot.  Also, we continue to recommend reasonable social distancing between yourself and others who are not of your household.

Changes could be made yet again, should either State or City changes be considered, or as facts, information and science around the continuing pandemic evolve. Everyone has seen how quickly the situation can change, with advent of new variants. We will do our best to keep up with the latest and respond as sensibly as we can given current facts.
