RESIDENTS and OWNERS:

The PTCA Social Committee wants to know if anyone is interested in attending an Oscar Party, sponsored by PT and the Committee.

Park Tower’s new A/V equipment is now available – not all our work is done – but it is working great so far, having met with success at the recent Movie Night. With an ethernet link to the internet now in place we expect to be able to stream very well and plan for more live events like the upcoming Super Bowl Party on February 4th. The first of it’s kind at Park Tower!!

If this goes as planned, the PT Social Committee is thinking about sponsoring an Academy Awards Party, during the broadcast on March 4th, but first wants to know if there is interest.

In case you missed it, the Chicago Tribune came out with a detailed investigative report this weekend regarding the financial malfeasance underlying the 2025 closure of Weiss Hospital and the 2026 closure of West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park. Bus "Shelters" No More

For multiple months we have received complaints regarding the homeless takeovers at several Uptown bus stops. The majority of the complaints have focused on the heavily used bus stop and bus shelter across from Aldi and Target, at the corner of Sunnyside and Broadway.Reader AK sent the following photos to illustrate the situation.
