by Michael Parrie, Board liaison – Owners, please remember to keep your unit insurance up to date and with coverage of at least $500,000. Failure to obtain or renew your insurance and provide proof to management will result in a fine of $100 for the first month, to double thereafter for each subsequent month, up to the maximum fine of $1,000 per month. Obviously, it’s cheaper to simply obtain the insurance than pay fines every month.
