Finishing and decorating work throughout the 2nd floor is continuing as expected.

The corridor to the pool and weight room is expected to be closed Wednesday April 4th thru Friday April 6th to complete wall preparation and decorating throughout this part of the hallway. The team anticipates the corridor will be inaccessible to traffic between 9am and 3:30pm each day. And from time to time the locker rooms may be inaccessible, or there may be a delay or obstruction to the locker rooms as workers are completing tasks.

During these times, members who need to access the pool or weight room will be able to DETOUR through the Party Room.

The work scheduled includes complete patching of walls and prepping for finishing work, repairing the women’s door access panel, priming, painting and wall papering.

We appreciate our members patience and understanding as this improvement project is completed.

Work is expected to get underway on Tuesday March 6th

Prep work for painting and wall-papering will be completed over the next couple weeks. It may be dusty from time to time, and traffic will occasionally be redirected. Wall repairs, skim coating, sanding and priming will be done as they prepare for finishing work in the hallway and corridor leading to the Health Club facilities. Some materials they use may generate an odor, but we are told it should be minimal. Workers will do their best to minimize the dust and inconvenience to those coming and going from the 2nd floor, but be prepared for these conditions if your planning to use the facilities.

As the work they are doing from day to day dictates, we expect traffic to be redirected through the party room to get to the pool and weight room. Also, cardio room traffic may be directed through the side entrance in the main hallway. We will do our best to post detour signs when possible.

Work will be done Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm, though they plan to limit noise generating activity until after 9am. The messiest part of the work is expected the first week and a half or so when there is sanding and wall repairs being completed. After that, they will complete painting, wall papering and other finishing work. In all, they expect the project to be completed within 30 days.
