Park Tower Owners and Residents,
As another challenging year draws to a close, the Board of Directors welcomes Thanksgiving and the Holidays as a time to recognize the hard working and industrious Park Tower staff. To do so, we invite and encourage everyone to donate to the PTCA Employee Holiday Fund. Our team has worked tirelessly to help promote a quality living experience and contribute to a safe and pleasant environment in our community and homes. Their success this year has been particularly hard won as we faced a labor shortage and have been on the front line dealing with the reality of inflation and supply chain difficulties. We are pleased to say that despite the obstacles, their efforts have kept us on track and within budget when it comes to most of our projects and routine activities.
The PTCA Employee Holiday Fund is made up of voluntary donations, distributed to 36 employees including the door staff, maintenance, garage, health club, management and security. They work around the clock – some visible and some behind the scenes – managing our business operations and improvement projects, and maintaining and securing the Lobby, Front Desk, Office, Garage, Health Club and all common areas.
They all deserve our thanks and recognition for a very successful year despite extremely stressful circumstances. On top of normal day to day activities and maintenance, the team guided us to completion on two riser projects, several critical HVAC improvements, pool area roof and flooring replacement, driveway and sidewalk repairs and more. Looking ahead to 2023, we are grateful to have the present team in place, as we expect to face similar challenges in the year to come. The holiday fund is our chance to show our team gratitude for these efforts, all the while doing an excellent job insulating our community as best they can from ongoing economic turbulence.
Donations will be collected by the Association and distributed through Payroll. Taxes will be withheld consistent with the law. All Residents and Owners may contribute via check or money order made out to “Park Tower Condo Association”. Please note “Holiday Fund” on the memo line. Drop the check in the lobby front desk drop box, or at the office, or mail it to Park Tower Condo, Attn: Management Office, 5415 N. Sheridan Rd. Suite #107, Chicago, IL, 60640. Owners may also contribute via a charge on their account by either letting the office know in writing, via e-mail at parktowercondo-mgmt@habitat.com, or completing the form on the reverse of this announcement [distributed via door drop and mail] and returning it to the office, dropping it in the front desk drop box, or sending it in the mail.
Due to the timing of our Payroll, please contribute no later than Friday December 23rd.
