This year we had about 263 donations, up from 248 last year, and our most donors ever. And we collected $31,136. A bit shy of last years total, but our 2nd largest fund ever. Now, 1/3 will be distributed evenly to the staff, 1/3 based on position and 1/3 based on tenure. And donations have actually still been coming in. MUCH APPRECIATED! 🙂
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO OPTED TO CHARGE YOUR ACCOUNT…
We posted 3 batches. The first one was actually posted in the prior accounting period so you will see this as a “PRIOR BALANCE” on your assessment statement rather than as an “EMPLOYEE HOLIDAY FUND DONATION”. Most of the charges though were posted in time for the January Statements, and you will see a line item for it.
However, those of you who donated after last Friday will not see it until the February statement. Friday December 17th was our cut off for charges to make the January statements, so, everyone who donated from then on through a charge on your account, won’t see it until February.
If you don’t see it on your statement, feel free to request a copy of your account ledger at parktowercondo-mgmt@habitat.com.

To contribute, please make a check or money order payable to “Park Tower Condo Association”.
Collection Cutoff Thursday DECEMBER 23rd
Leave your check in the drop box at the front desk, or drop it off at the management office by Thursday December 23rd. (Please do not leave cash.) The employees will receive the contributions via the final Payroll of the year which will be processed just after that. Owners may opt to have their PTCA account charged – just fill out the form below and return it to the drop box at the front desk or the office. OR, e-mail a request to parktowercondo-mgmt@habitat.com, with a request to charge your account for your donation. Employees will receive their gift with the payroll following the cutoff.

The Holidays Are Here, and a another challenging year for our families, friends and the community is coming to a close. For their part in keeping Park Tower a safe and pleasant place to call home, the Board of Directors encourages you to join us in thanking our team of 36 employees. The PTCA Employee Holiday Fund is made up of voluntary donations, which will be distributed to our door staff, maintenance, garage, health club, management and security employees. They work around the clock managing our business operations and maintaining and securing the Lobby, Front Desk, Office, Garage, Health Club and all common areas. Some are very visible and others work behind the scene. They all deserve our recognition especially as they’ve continued maneuvering through the challenges related to the pandemic.
On top of their ongoing determination to manage and maintain Park Tower under trying circumstances, our team successfully recommenced the very important Riser Replacement Projects, helped coordinate completion of the Garage Project and several planned Heating and Air Conditioning and Plumbing Repair Projects, as well as 2nd floor roof repairs and deck improvements. Our maintenance and management team have also been critically important this year managing business operations effectively and efficiently, to help insulate Owners and residents as much as possible from the impacts of a very turbulent economy. This includes the much discussed impacts of inflation and supply chain disruptions. Even as we emerge from the pandemic, this will be important to focus on going forward.
Donations will be collected by the Association and distributed through Payroll. Taxes will be withheld consistent with the law. All Residents and Owners may contribute via check or money order made out to “Park Tower Condo Association”. Please note “Holiday Fund” on the memo line. Drop the check in the lobby front desk drop box, or at the office, or mail it to Park Tower Condo, Attn: Management Office, 5415 N. Sheridan Rd. Suite #107, Chicago, IL, 60640. Owners may also contribute via a charge on their account by either letting the office know in writing, via e-mail at parktowercondo-mgmt@habitat.com, or completing the bottom of this announcement (Click Here) and either returning it to the office, dropping it in the front desk drop box, or sending it in the mail.
