ON BEHALF OF THE ENTIRE STAFF, thank you to all those who have donated to the 2020 Employee Holiday Fund. So far we have received about 120 donations. Considering the state of the world and the challenges all our families and neighbors are facing this year, the entire team greatly appreciates each gift.
By request, and in order to better coordinate with the year end payroll, we have extended the deadline for donations to be collected. Funds will be processed with the final payroll of the year, the week of New Year’s.
So if you have not yet donated, there is still a chance. To be processed with the final payroll of the year, you can make your donation up until Wednesday December 23rd.
Our team appreciates your consideration, and wishes everyone health and prosperity 2021.
Owners can make your donation by simply e-mailing the office at parktowercondo-mgmt@habitat.com. Just indicate your name, unit number and the dollar amount you wish to donate. The charge will appear on a future assessment statement.
Renters can drop off a payment to the office, Monday through Friday 8am to 12pm, or anytime in the slot at the front desk.
Fellow Park Tower Owners and Residents,
The Holidays Are Here. This season caps one of the most challenging years for our community, our families, friends and the Park Tower Staff. As you’re planning for the holidays, please join us in thanking Park Tower’s dedicated team of 36 employees, by donating to the PTCA Employee Holiday Fund. Funds raised will be distributed with the 2nd Payroll for December, for the door staff, maintenance, garage, health club, management and security. They work around the clock managing, maintaining and securing the Lobby, Front Desk, Office, Garage, Health Club and our common areas. They protect our community, keep the common areas clean, secure and presentable, all the while managing Park Tower’s business operations smoothly and efficiently. This, despite the COVID-19 pandemic which has lingered and looms over us all this season.
It’s all that more important we recognize them, given the strength and determination they’ve shown while putting themselves and their families at increased risk by reporting to work. Their routine has changed in drastic ways, managing lobby and elevator traffic, prioritizing our health and safety through deep cleaning and sanitizing the common areas and other fixtures on a continuous basis, and caring for locations where owners and residents would otherwise be at increased risk to exposure to the coronavirus. On top of that, our staff provided a big assist on a number of major projects including the Garage Concrete Repairs, several large and small Heating and Air Conditioning and Plumbing Repair Projects, and 2nd floor deck repairs and improvements. We also continue to benefit in many ways from small to medium size projects they coordinate and manage in house. We don’t always have to rely on the expense of a contractor with a skilled staff capable of completing much of what we do in house.
Donations will be collected by the Association, and distributed through Payroll. Taxes will be withheld consistent with the law. All Residents and Owners may contribute via check or money order made out to “Park Tower Condo Association”. Please note “Holiday Fund” on the memo line. Drop the check in the lobby front desk drop box, or at the office, or mail it to Park Tower Condo, Attn: Management Office, 5415 N. Sheridan Rd. #107, Chicago, IL, 60640. Owners may also contribute via a charge on their account by either letting the office know in writing, via e-mail at parktowercondo-mgmt@habitat.com, or completing the bottom of this announcement and either returning it to the office, dropping it in the front desk drop box, or sending in the mail.
So our staff receives their Holiday Fund gifts in time for the holidays, due to the timing of Payroll, please contribute by Friday December 11th.
Thank you for showing your gratitude and support to our staff. We wish you, your family, friends, neighbors and loved ones health, happiness, peace and prosperity in 2021!
Sincerely, The Park Tower Board,
Sheldon Atovsky, Monique Fouant,
Michael Parrie, Cheryl Ronnett
and Jean Shamo
