The Project to replace the Hot Water Riser serving the ’10 and ’11 units, from the 30th to 55th floors gets underway Monday August 26th! The team will be starting on the 55th floor working down. Work will begin at a pace of two floors per day and will take up to around 4 weeks all together, once they begin on a particular floor. Water is expected to be off each weekday between 9am and 4pm to the ’10 kitchens and ‘11 guest bathrooms, from Tuesday August 27th through Monday September 16th, 2019.
These daily shut downs will accommodate the work needed for the replacement of the riser, but are only needed for the duration of the project while actual plumbing work is being done, consistent with the notices and calendars Owners and Residents of these units received. Once the plumbing work is completed each business day, the water will be turned back on. That is usually sometime between 2pm and 4pm. While the water shut offs are only expected to impact the ’10 and ’11 units, this notice is being sent to all units so residents of these floors are aware of the project.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate all residents’ patience and understanding while this very important improvement project is completed. Feel free to contact the office with any questions, 773-769-3250, or send us an e-mail.
