We expect a formal notice from ASTOUND to be issued within the next week, however they’ve advised the dates available for making appointments for free equipment installation will be Wednesday October 23rd through Saturday October 26th. Instructions on making your appointment and what to be prepared for will be included in the notice.
Once we receive the notice, it will be door dropped to all ’02 and ’14 units, and this post will be updated.
After ASTOUND completes the fiber line installation and repairs the drywall, our team will follow and paint the repair location. The team will visit twice on your units scheduled date – to lay down floor protection and do a first coat in the morning hours 9am to 12’ish and then a 2nd coat in the afternoon about 1-4pm. Expect about 45 minutes each visit.

Also remember, for all ’02 and ’14 Unit residents, when preparing your space for workers remember we will need a reasonable path clear to the work location (circled on the floorplans below). In general, keeping about 6′ of clearance in all directions is reasonable. This includes the wall next to the work location and the window ledge.

Astound will place PVC protection for the entire 14 and 02 tiers from the top down (floors 55-3) and begin open the wall at the work location followed by vacuuming. Below are the work locations:
For all ’02 and ’14 Units, when preparing your space for workers we will need a reasonable path clear to the work location. And, for the work locations circled on the above floorplans on making about 6′ of clearance in all directions. This includes the wall adjacent to the work location and window and HVAC convector.
Astound will begin coring on Tuesday, September 3rd and that will overlap with laying of the PVC protection, and the work area will be vacuumed.
